Ballet: discipline that becomes grace
Eight-week terms from first plié to full variations. Live piano in senior groups, pointe preparation from Level 3, and a stage showcase every term.

The discipline
Technique first, artistry always
Our ballet programme follows a clear syllabus: barre vocabulary and alignment in Levels 1–2, pirouettes, adagio and petit allegro in Level 3, and full classical variations with pointe work in Levels 4–5. Adults and teens train side by side, grouped by level rather than age.
- Barre, centre practice, allegro and stretch in every session
- Pointe assessment and preparation from Level 3
- Live accompaniment in Levels 3–5
- Term-end showcase in costume on the Grand Hall stage

FAQ
Ballet questions, answered

Fitted clothes you can move in, socks or soft slippers for trial classes. Proper ballet shoes from week three; we recommend shops at reception.
After a strength assessment, usually in Level 3. Rushing pointe is how injuries happen — your teacher will tell you when you're ready.
