Street dance: born on concrete, raised in the cypher
Breaking, locking, popping and house — taught the way the culture teaches: in circles, with music loud and egos checked at the door.

The discipline
Four styles, one circle
Each term rotates through breaking foundations (toprock, footwork, freezes), locking grooves and points, popping hits and waves, and house jacking and lofting. Wednesday cyphers put it all together; Saturday jams are where you test it.
- Style rotations every two weeks, all four covered per term
- Conditioning for power moves and injury prevention
- Cypher etiquette and battle preparation
- Entry to the end-of-term Street Heat Jam showcase

FAQ
Street questions, answered
Yes — Level 1 stays upright: toprock, grooves and basic footwork. Floor work and freezes come with conditioning and crash mats.
A circle where dancers take turns in the middle while everyone else hypes them up. It's the heart of street culture — and the least scary place to try.
Never. Most students train for fun and fitness. If the bug bites, Jayden's battle-prep block gets you ready for your first jam.
